Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English artist and singer. The public was captivated in the year 2010 by releasing her hit singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses" British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly rose to the top of the charts with her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a distinctive soprano scream and a knack for writing emotional songs with inspiring lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as artistic independent music. She ultimately signed a major-label contract to Polydor Records and began making plans to launch her debut album.
