Selena Gomez is an internationally famous actress and singer. She's been a part of many projects, but her involvement in the Disney Series Wizards of Waverly Place has had the greatest success. Selena Marie Gomez, her full title is. Born on the 22nd of July 1992 at Grand Prairie Texas. Her parents include Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. The mother of Selena's, Amanda Cornett, was 16 when Selena was born. She was born in 2009 and Selena was cast in her first film in show business, playing Gianna as Barney and her Friends. This way she was among the thousands of kids who've had the opportunity to interact with the anthromorphic dinosaur that has become so popular in the past. Selena was a part of the cast for a number of seasons, including seasons 7 and 8,, from 2001 until 2003. As a fun fact: Selena isn't the only singer who worked on Barney and the Friends in this time period. Demi Lovato also was part of the ensemble cast for the show. Selena Gomez, after she quit the show, was unsuccessful in auditions for films and other television shows. In 2003, she had an unimportant role in Mini Spies 3: (Spy Kids 3D: Game Over) as well as she was in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire in the role of Julie. The film also featured her in the role of Emily Grace Garcia, a character she created a musical for in 2006's Brain Zapped.
