Selena Gomez is an internationally famous actress and singer. Her Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her most successful shows. Her real name is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on July 22, 1992, in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. She was just 16 at the time Selena was born. Selena got her first stage show job at the age of nine when she played Gianna in Barney and her Friends. Through this, she joined the ranks of children who have had the opportunity to interact with the anthromorphic dinosaur, which is now well-known in the world of science fiction. Selena played a role in several episodes for seasons 7 and 8 from 2001-2003. Selena Gomez wasn't the only performer to be featured on Barney and His Friends between 2001 and the year 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the group too. Selena Gomez had a few auditions for various series and films following the conclusion of Barney and His Friends. The auditions were not successful. The role as Emily Grace Garcia was assigned to her in the 2006 film Brain Zapped, for which she composed a soundtrack.
